About This Activity

Always Brothers began its signature 100 mile honor run on August 10-11, 2011 to honor Capt. Tyler Swisher, a Marine Corps brother who lost his life in October 2005 and who served on Presidential Guard duty with the Always Brothers founders and board members in the mid 1990s.

Since "100 Miles for Swisher" Always brothers has run "100 Miles for Lima Co.", "100 Miles for ONE MIND" and the "Ellsworth 150", raising approximately $175,000 for the education funds of children who lost their parents in the War on Terror, treatment of post-traumatic stress and traumatic brain injury, and Military Families United, Michigan.
The 100 Mile Memorial Run is not a race. Runners begin together and end together and run at the pace of the Always Brothers runners.
We promise it will hurt. We promise no medals, ribbons or trophies. We promise you will cry. We promise it will be an experience you will never forget!
Semper Fidelis. Semper Fratres. Always Faithfull. Always Brothers.
