About This Activity

The Santa Barbara County Animal Care Foundation (SBCACF) is an all-volunteer foundation who works very hard to make an impact in our community by benefiting the homeless, abandoned and neglected animals at our local county shelters.  Although our name does not catch your eye by stating Humane Society or SPCA, we are the local organization that intervenes to benefit the unsocialized, injured, abandoned, neglected and abused animals who have no one to champion their cause. By providing these rehabilitatable shelter animals medical funding, training tools to support appropriate behavior, projects and programs to increase the quality of life for shelter animals we can keep the euthanasia needle away and work together towards the goal of adoption. We offer free and low cost public spay & neuter options, outreach, and education of local school children about pet responsibility and how to make a difference.  It is through community interests and support that we can offer these proactive options to build a better future for all the citizens in our community.

Making a difference- 100% of our event profits go to programs that directly benefit our local shelter animals.
