About This Activity

I bee-lieve there is a cure out there for blood cancers. Help find it while you stay in shape, keep that New Years resolution, and earn a little BLING! As always, 100% of the profits will go to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

This month, we have the following (virtual) races available to you:

I Bee-lieve 5k: your standard 5 kilometers or 3.10686 miles (the .00086 gets me ever time)

I Bee-lieve 10k: just like the 5k but twice as long

I Bee-lieve Half Marathon: Ready for a bit more of a challenge but not quite up for a full marathon then this 13.1 miles is for you

I Bee-lieve Full Marathon: A full 26.2 miles… go get ‘em tiger!

What is a virtual race? It’s like a regular race except you:

  • Don’t have to wake up with the roosters
  • Don’t have to stand in obnoxiously long line to use the toilet paperless Port-O-Potties and risk missing the start
  • Run on your time! Whenever and wherever you want - around your neighborhood, on a track, or on a treadmill… it ALL counts!
  • Choose your distance and complete it all at once or over several days/weeks

Like a regular race, you still get:

  • A shiny medal because showing off race bling ROCKS!
  • Cheered for getting off your duff and moving – but like the run, it’s a virtual high-five!
  • The satisfaction of knowing you ran a 5k, 10k, ½ or full marathon (who cares if it isn't all at once - you don't have to tell anyone!) or continue with your 2014 Resolution by completing the Challenge event.
  • The ability to help a great cause! 100% of the profits go to support The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

Event details and schedule

You can walk, run, jog, cartwheel, Zumba, jump rope, or hopscotch through your miles on your time, in your location - indoors our out! It's ALL about YOU. THIS is YOUR run! Make it memorable!
