The 13th Annual Runnin' United 5K Fun Run
Sun, Nov 16, 2014
San Francisco, CA
About This Activity
I'd like to invite you to do something today to honor the memories of the victims of the 9/11 attack - as well as all of their loved ones whose lives were forever changed as a result.
Register now for the 13th Annual Runnin' United 5k Fun Run on Sunday, November 16 at 11AM!
We are going around the globe again! My colleagues around the world were so inspired by what we did last year – we are doing it again!
Runnin' United will go from New Zealand (Auckland) to Australia (Sydney, Melbourne) to Europe (Milan, Paris, Munich, London, Dublin, Madrid) to Brazil (São Paulo) to the US (New York City, Rochester, Charleston, Chicago, Omaha, Louisville, & San Francisco)! You will not want to miss being a part of this GLOBAL EVENT!
***WHERE DOES THE $ GO?*** All proceeds from Runnin' United benefit the Fred Gabler Helping Hand Camp Fund. As many of you know, Fred Gabler was a friend of mine from summer camp who was killed on 9/11. I met Fred when I was 10 and I grew up with him at camp. I have been doing this event in his honor every year for my birthday and I would LOVE it if you joined me for the run this year.
The Fred Gabler Helping Hand Camp Fund raises money in Fred's name to send underprivileged children to summer camp. You can read more about the fund here: www.fredgabler.org.
