This swim competition is an estimated 3.25 mile course-a swim from Aquatic Park, San Francisco to around, and back from Alcatraz- This is the only kind of competition open to local and around the world elite swimmers - only swim of its kind in the world. Strictly limited to 50 swimmers.

Event schedule and times

A Non-Mandatory check-in SATURDAY JULY 5th. at Sports Basement

From 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m

SWIM DAY

Check- in at Aquatic Park - 6:30a.m. to 6:45 a.m.

Swim start : 7:00 a.m.(right after U.S.Coast Guard Clearance)

At WWS we want to make sure you are properly training swimming for at least a mile in the pool and if possible swimmming in cold waters to aclimate yourself. Don not hesitate to contact us if you have any question about trainging of our training sessions in teh Bay of San Francisco.

Contact us for more information for training as for tips to workouts in the pool to increase your endurance.
