About This Activity

JOIN US SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 8 AT 9AM.
AT THE PASEO DE SANTA ANGELA.

The mission of Concho Valley PAWS (Pets Are Worth Saving) is to end the euthanasia of adoptable pets by providing the Concho Valley with low-cost spay and neuter services, quality pet adoption programs and community educational services.

Since 2010, we have successfully rescued, rehabilitated and rehomed over 2,200 cats and dogs, provided for the sterilization of over 4,500 pets of low-income homes and spayed or neutered over 1,500 feral cats.

Concho Valley PAWS is a no-kill animal advocacy organization.  We do not operate a traditional shelter.   We have an adoption left inside Sunset Mall but the majority of our pets reside in temporary, loving foster homes until their forever home can be found.

As you can imagine, our most expensive single expenditure is that of veterinary care.  Last year, we spent over $60,000 on veterinary services.  The funds raised at the 2014 Mutt Strut will go directly to our veterinary expenses.
