About This Activity
Please help the Middleton Elementary PTO raise money for our general fund to support new technology and playground equipment. We will be welcoming our returning and new members of the Middleton Community to our first big event of the year! To help make it a "Night to Shine!" all participants will receive glow sticks and all Middleton kids will receive light-up finger flashlights! Prizes for the BEST Glow-in-the-Dark Attire!
We will enjoy fabulous DJ Steve Pinex for an after the race Glow-in-the-Dark Dance Party along with cookies courtesy of Kowalskis! We hope you can come and start the year of right with a fun night for all!
Event details and schedule
When: Friday, September 16, 2016 ~RAIN, SNOW, OR SHINE~
Race times: Little sprinters (pre-schoolers) warm-up: 6:40 PM
Little sprinters run: 6:45 PM
Certified 5K run: 7:00 PM
5K walk: 7:05 PM
Following Run/Walk: Free cookies provided by Kowalski's. Music by DJ Steve Pinex
Where: Certified 5K chip-timed course around beautiful Colby Lake Trail in Woodbury.
Parking: Please allow enough time to secure parking. There is parking at Colby Lake Park; additional parking at neighboring Valley Creek Crossing Community School (9900 Park Crossing, Woodbury, MN)
What to wear: Regular Running Costumes and any Glow-in-the-Dark Bling! Free Glow Sticks will be provided to all participants.
Bib and Chip Timer Pick-up: Pick up will ONLY be on race-day from 5:45-6:45 PM at Colby Lake Shelter
