Boys and girls grades 1–4 can enjoy basketball while learning the basic fundamentals. Girls and boys will NOT be grouped together for instruction or scrimmage purposes.

During her career, Janet Karvonen was regarded as one of the nation's premier jump shooters. In her shooting camps, Karvonen is able to provide the offensive instruction which continues to improve the level of girls' basketball in Minnesota. Pure Shooters Camp focuses primarily on correct shooting form and footwork. Players will have their shooting form videotaped and individually analyzed. You simply will not find another camp with better shooting and offensive instruction.

Minimizing unnecessary turnovers in games begins with solid ball handling skills. Players at every position should have an ease, comfort and confidence with the ball that comes through individual practice and skill building. Put in a day of hard work and repetition on ball handling and passing drills and skills that will contribute to your overall effectiveness on the court. Day will include instruction on high level dribble moves, two-ball and partner drills, weak hand work, cones, tennis balls, and more!

Come work on your shooting form and footwork, then add in a full day of intense ball-handling drills! A great way to improve two parts of your games this summer!
