About This Activity
100% of the proceeds from this low key 5k and fun run will be donated to CSR. This organization rescues cocker spaniels across the counrty, provides medical services and social rehabiliation as necessary prior to placing the rescued animals in fur ever homes. All of the work is done through the help of volunteers and donations. We the owners of Tri Fitness are lucky enough to have three loving cockers from CSR. When we learned of all CSR is doing for these sweet dogs, we couldn't wait to get involved in helping raise awareness and funds.
This is the second annual running of the Rescue Romp and Cocker Crawl. You don't have to be a cocker spaniel owner or lover to participate in this event. All dogs and dog lovers are welcome. If we can help CSR better the life of even one dog, we know we have been successful. Of course we would like to do more than that. With your help, we would love to exceed our goal of giving CSR $5000 towards their efforts. The medical and social rehabilitation of these animals is astronomical. We can all do something to defrey these costs and ensure that the dismal lives these animals face are forever changed by your generosity. Please tell your friends to join in the fun.

Schedule of Events
8:00am - Race Day registration
9:00am - 5K STARTS
9:15am - 1 MILE FUN RUN STARTS
This run starts behind the Tri Fitness Training Center (West side), heads south on Sports Center Drive, and through the parking lot of the White Bear Lake Sports Center until it intersects Birch Lake Blvd. From there, runners wind through the neighborhood streets until they come to White Bear Pkwy. Runners follow this east until they come to Otter Lake Rd, where they head south. Otter Lake Rd quickly forks and runners should bear right onto Schuneman Rd. It's a straight shot from here to the turn-around point (almost to the very end of the road). Once runners turn around, they'll follow the same course back to White Bear Pkwy. Runners will eventually hang a right, back onto Birch Lake Blvd, and then return to the start/finish line, via the same path through the WBL Sports Center parking lot.
The finish area, where spectators and finishers can gather, watch and cheer, will be located behind the training left, in the parking lot adjacent to the start/finish line. A finisher bag will be provided at the end of the race that will include water and some chips.
