About This Activity
At the end of the 2013 Juston found a small lump in his groin about the size of a jelly bean. The first part of Feb. the lump had grown to the size of half of a golf ball. We got him into the Dr. and the morning of his appt Juston started feeling around in his arm pits and neck. Three more lumps were found on his left side of his neck. The Dr. told us it could be anything from Mono to Cancer. The Dr. took blood, had a chest X-ray done and ordered an ultra sound on his neck. All of these reports came back normal. The Dr. started treating Juston for an infection and said to let him know if nothing had changed in a week and he would order a biopsy. In talking with a neighbor who was diagnosed with lymphoma last year he said to get a biopsy because all of his test came back normal as well. It was like pulling teeth to get the biopsy ordered and 2 weeks later the biopsy was done. While Juston recovered from the surgery the Dr. Informed us that it was in deed cancer. We later found out that it was non-hodgkins lymphoma.
