MURPH For MUTTS WOD (workout)
1 Mile Run
1 Mile Run
RX (Prescribed) Division
2-Person teams run/walk first & last mile together taking turns carrying one 10lb bag of dog food
Chin to bar pull-ups
Push-ups to floor lifting hands at bottom
Squats with butt below crease of knee
2-Person teams run/walk first & last 800 meters together taking turns carring one 10lb bag of dog food
Pull-ups banded, jumping or ring rows
Push-ups on knees
Reps scaled to: 80 Pull-ups, 150 Push-ups, 250 Squats
NOTE: 1st Place Prizes awarded to RX Division team and Scaled Division team. To qualify to win 1st place the workout must be performed according to standards listed above by both teammates.
If you need to scale the workout even further or do fewer reps that's okay...you just won't qualify for the 1st place prizes but you will still have loads of fun and raise money for a great cause! We can scale this so that everyone can participate.
Teammates MUST alternate reps - one person rests while the other works
Teammates may partition the reps any way they like
35 minute time cap
T-Shirt ONLY - Not Participating in Workout (inactive - April 25th deadline for t-shirts has passed)
Can't make it or just want to cheer for your friends? Select the T-Shirt ONLY option
Shirts will be delivered to CrossFit Zanshin (we will not ship)
You must pick up your shirt at CrossFit Zanshin the day of the event or any day during normal business hours
You may arrange for someone else to pick up on your behalf if you let us know they are coming
Event schedule and times
8:00AM - 8:30AM - early check-in
You will receive an email notifying you of your heat # and time.
Arrive at least 30 minutes before your heat.
We will pair you with someone if you did not register with a partner.
8:30AM - 9:05AM
9:15AM - 9:50AM
10:00AM - 10:35am
and so on....
*Each heat will be capped at 35 minutes with a 10 minute transition time between heats. We will continue this format until everyone has participated.
