About This Activity
Space is limited to 100 participants (50 per selected day), please register early
Commitment: 9 Weeks at the Harley School Pool
Current Fitness level: beginner to advance swimming experience
Swim 101: For those who may not feel comfortable in the water and need basic skills necessary to swim. Prior to starting the program, participants must know how to swim but it does not have to be well. This program will provide coached sessions including stroke refinement, swim endurance and beginner swim workouts to get you confident and comfortable in the water.
Swim 201: For those who are comfortable in the water and have a good foundation of swimming. This class is ideal for those who want to improve their endurance while refining their stroke and technique.
Class Format: One weekly organized and coached session for both Swim 101 and Swim 201, training options and workouts outside of the coached session, and a weekly email from the coach.
What to expect on the first day: A 100m (or 50m) time trial will be conducted based on your time and skill level Coach Mike will then assign you to either the Swim 101 or Swim 201 training program.
*Please note that each 6:30PM-9:00PM session will be split, either 6:30-7:45PM or 7:45-9:00PM based on the training program you are assigned to by Coach Mike.However we are flexible based on your schedule.
