What is WalkFIT: Perfect for those who have no desire to run but still want to be active and fit. WalkFIT is strictly walking and perfect for the beginner exerciser to the advanced walker who can walk 3 miles or more. WalkFIT helps participants take the first step to a healthy lifestyle.
Who should join walkFIT: WalkFIT 5K helps you take the first steps towards a healthy lifestyle. WalkFIT is an excellent choice if you are currently inactive and want to improve your fitness level and overall health. You will meet wonderful fitness friends and enjoy working out in a supportive and motivational environment. At Fleet Feet Sports Rochester, we are passionate about helping you get fit, and walking is an excellent low impact activity to do that!
WalkFIT program includes:
A 12 week flexible training schedule
online training tool workoutlog to track progress and communicate with coaches
clinics on various topics such as: stretching, where to walk, race prep, nutrition and much more!
A safe supportive environment for all athletic abilities
2 weekly organized, mentored and coached workouts Wednesdays at 5:45pm and Saturdays at 7:45am
