About This Activity

The East Ave Grocery Run is about fitness, family fun, and food for all!

Your entry fee will go directly to Rochester-area food cupboards to benefit hungry families, children and seniors. Events: a 5K run brought to you by Wegmans & Constellation Brands and a 1 mile run brought to you by Marathon Financial. Runners and walkers are welcome in both events. Last year our participants ranged from age 4 to 84! The SMP Boogie for Broccoli Children's Fun Runs are FREE and do not require advance registration.

Our flat, fast course begins and ends on Fall-foliage-framed East Avenue. Our post-race party features lots of delicious food donated by local restaurants, including Juan and Maria's Empanadas, Java's Cafe and Balsam Bagels. Bring a donation of non-perishable food items for the Foodlink Food Drive and you'll be entered to win some fabulous prizes!

During registration you can set up an online fundraising page and invite your friends and family to donate on your behalf to benefit local hunger programs.

COST and AMENITIES:

5K registration $25.00 by September 1st; $27.00 by November 1st; $30.00 on race day.

1 Mile registration $20.00 by November 1st; $25.00 on race day.

Refer 5 friends who register by September 1st and you'll earn an awesome Grocery Run baseball cap!
