About This Activity

This is a 5k Trail Run to support the Strafford County 4-H Program! 4-H is a non-profit youth development organization run through the University of New Hampshire, Cooperative Extension. We serve all children ages 5-18 with the mission of building positive youth-adult partnerships and teaching valuable life-skills through hands on learning in a wide variety of topic areas. Children in 4-H can be involved in many activities from engineering and robotics to animal science and the creative arts. All the profits from this Trail Run will support programming for Strafford County youth.

The Trail Run will take place at the beautiful Waste Management Trail System off of Rochester Neck Rd in Rochester, NH. Runners will be timed as they make their way over the course along the Isinglas River and through forested areas. The trail course has great variety, from wide flat logging paths to narrower and steeper hill areas. The Race Committee reserves the right to implement a staggered start method in the event that race registration exceeds optimim course capacity. T-shirts are available to those who sign up by May 25 and prizes will be awarded to the top scorers for each age category. Please note that registration also increases on May 25, so register early!
