About This Activity

What happens when two fun running clubs get together? Why they create a fun event that invites all levels of runners and walkers to share goodwill.

Dress in  your best lite up costume and join us Friday December 4th for our 2nd annual Warm Hearted Runners event.

You can help the Thundering Gazelles and Your Pace or Mine Running Clubs in bringing joy to needy familys this holiday season.

There will be a casual stroll down main street of downtown Rochester followed by a 5k route that all are welcome to run. The event is non competitve, non timed... hey if you just want to show up and talk that's okay too! You will get a warm feeling of satisfaction in helping others as well as some great participation  swag.

Everyone registered will recieve a deluxe fleece blanket, ceramic coffee mug filled with hot chocolate and a unique (and soon to be coveted) finishers medal.

If that's not enough for you prizes (last years it was an ipad!) will be awarded for the best adult, children and group costume.

All of this for the small cost of $25.00! (please note all profits will go to charity)

Looks for updates on those prizes coming soon.

Event details and schedule

Runners and walkers can park at local lots as well as the free municiple lot within walking distance of the American Legion Hall, 234 Walnut, Rochester. Check in begins at 6p so come early and get your blanket and run number. Course maps for stroll and 5k will be posted soon. Make sure to wear some layed cold weather gear under your best lit costume. Costume contest will be judged as you check in and awards will be given at 8:30p (or when the last runner returns)

This is your chance to help needy familys during the holidays while having fun at the same time.

Additives for hot chocolate is BYOB (you just can't go wrong with Bailey's if that is your wish)

We look forward to welcoming you on the 4th of December!
