About This Activity
The 4th Annual Shasta Mud Run is back and has moved to the spring. The McConnell Foundation's Ross Ranch offers extra muddy 5K challenge course for all ages and skill levels and a 10K with wicked obstacles for those serious athletes. Spectators will enjoy local vendors, including food and beverages. Children 10 and under can have fun in the FREE Mini Muddies Mud Pit Play Area. Don't forget to check out our awesome raffle prizes too!!

Packet Pick Up
Beat the crowd on race day, by picking up your race packet early!
Date: Thursday, May 12th
Location: Everyday Fitness, 2345 Athens Ave.
If you are picking up for another person or your team, be sure to have the following information with you at the time of pick up.
Signed waivers for EACH participant and a copy of their ID
(A digital image of ID on your phone or photocopy will be accepted)
If you pre purchased VIP tickets or Raffle tickets, you will pick those up at the event.
Stop by the Information Booth for details.
Dog tags and event T-shirt is included with registration
If you want to be timed, timing Chips are available for an additional $5.00.
Registration • 7:30 am Event Day pick-up: Please have ID ready for our wonderful volunteers to check you in as quickly as possible. There will be long lines!
Already picked up your packet with bib number and t-shirt? Proceed directly to the event arena to enjoy the festivities. Free bag check is available.
Plan to arrive NO LATER than 8:30 am 9:00 am • Opening Announcements Competitive Adult Wave **Timed Only - First Come** Every Day Fitness trainers will be on hand to help warm up. Waves of 50 runners enter the course every 10 minutes. Fun Run or those that may take a little extra time start at 10am. 10:00 am • FUN RUN Waves of 50 Will be released from the warm up area every 5 minutes. 11:00 am • Costume Entry Cut-off Sign up at the Social Media Station #ShastaMudRun

This year we are bringing the After Party to Ross Ranch!!!! Immediately following the Shasta Mud Run, stick around for food, drinks, and live music!
The After Party will start at 10am (for those that finish early!!!). Food will be available starting at 11am. Cold Sweat will be performing throughout the day with music for everyone! Order your tickets early for a $5.00 discount. Tickets will be $25.00 the day of the event.
Each VIP After Party ticket includes: BBQ meal (provided by Woody’s Brewing Co.), one beverage included (soda, water, or beer for those over 21), plus discounted beer ALL day, access to the VIP area where Cold Sweat will be playing. Special VIP swag and more photo ops available!
To redeem or purchase your VIP After Party ticket, check in at the VIP After Party booth the day of the event and pick up your wrist band and meal ticket!

Where is it & where do we park?
The McConnell Foundation’s Ross Ranch is located 1 mile north of Shasta College on Old Oregon Trail. (1.3 miles south of Oasis Blvd.)
Please follow the instructions of the parking attendants to keep traffic moving smoothly. Parking Donation of $5 for the Explorers Program is requested. There is NO parking along Old Oregon Trail.
What else do I need to know?
If you picked up your race day packet early, then you can proceed directly to the event arena. There is no need to check in at the registration desk. Pins for the bibs are located at the bag check area.**For best results, pin the bib to the BACK of your shirt- ask another friendly mud runner to assist you!**
If you are picking up on race day, please check no later than 8:30am. Waves of 50 participants on a first come basis. We are all out there to have a great time, so enjoy any wait time by getting to know your fellow runners, check out the vendor area, food, and beverages!
Please allow serious athletes to pass and go first.
Rinse off station is located near the finish line. We recommend a change of clothes and plastic bags to put your muddy clothes in before getting in your neighbors car!
