About This Activity

  • SCHEDULE: Day of event registration and package pick up will begin at 7:00 am. The 5k Fun/Run Walk will begin promptly at 8:00 am.
  • REGISTRATION FEES: $15.00 non-refundable Entry Fee through July 6th. July 7th to day of run July 13th a non-refundable Entry Fee will be $20.00.
  • FOOD AND WATER: There will be snacks and water available to all participants at the completion of the event. There will be a water station at mid point during the event.
  • SAFETY: The run/walk destination will be marked by signs and manned by the Red Creek Volunteer Fire Department and event volunteers.
  • DIVISIONS: This is a family fun run/walk all ages are welcome.
  • HISTORY: 7th Annual Lavender Festival at Ol'Factory Farms. This is the 5th Annual Lavender 5k Fun Run/Walk. The owner of Ol'Factory Farm enjoys giving back to the community and decided to add this event to the Lavender Festival to promote good health, family enjoyment, fun and giving all our proceeds to Make-A-Wish Foundation.
  • PRIZES: Awards given to the overall top three male and female finishers in the event. All participants who register on or before July 3, 2014 are guarenteed to receive a t-shirt. All participants will receive a free coupon to the Lavender Festival following the run and a ribbon at the completion of the run/walk.
  • **NO ANIMALS ALLOWED DURING THE RUN/WALK OR DURING THE LAVENDER FESTIVAL**

  • Awards will be given out at completion of the event under the big tent at the left of the Lavender Festival.
  • The course starts on a scenic country road with some rolling hills.  The course continues into the Village of Red Creek and back out to the country side.
