About This Activity

Good Samaritan Behavioral Healthcare Domestic Violence Survivors Program is a grant funded program that relies on grants, donations and fundraising so that it can offer individual counseling and support groups at no cost to survivors of domestic violence in Pierce County, WA.

This year, we are hosting a second annual Walk A Mile in Her Shoes ® fundraising event to help support victims and educate communities about gender, intimate partner, teen dating violence.  Please show your support and donte/ Walk with us!!

Event schedule and times

The event will take place @ 10AM at the Meeker Festival's Main Stage (Meeker St & #rd St.). The course is predominately flat with a very slight grade. We will be walking on the road and sidewalks.   It's best to show up around 9:15 to check-in, grab your fun bags and stretch those legs. Bring your heels, your partner, noise makers, friends, cameras and lots energy to show your support against intimate partner/domestic/teen dating violence and honor those who have survived IP/DV/TDV violence.

Parking will be available off Spring Street (along the railroad tracks across from Meeker Mansion) and Good Samaritan Behavioral Health’s parking lot (325 E. Pioneer).
