Our Armed Forces go through a lot even after they've returned home from deployment and sometimes they need a hand-up to return to a normal civilian life. It's Our Turn Inc. 501(c)3 (www.itsourturninc.org), a Veteran group composed of men and women who have served in the Armed Forces, has designed this race because they believe there is great honor in helping their brothers and sisters who have sacrificed and fought for our freedom.
Last year, It's Our Turn, Inc. was honored to make a MAXIMUM IMPACT, on behalf of your donations, to numerous Veterans & Veterans Organizations in our area. We were able to make contributions to the Honor Flight, DVM, Homeless Coalition and many, many, individual veterans in need in our area. Band with us again this year, to make a difference in the lives of our veterans by giving them the hand up they so greatly deserve!
"It's Your Turn" to stand-up, and help the Veterans in need in Charlotte County!
This year’s race is the 4th part of a Five-Year Race Series honoring each branch of our United States Armed Forces. This year's theme is dedicated to those who serve on land, sea, and air... the United States Coast Guard!
If you want to experience this patriotic and inspiring race, please do not delay signing-up, the physical race has SOLD OUT every year by April 15th! To meet the growing demand, we have added 100 additional spots again this year, but with only 800 total spots available you don't want to miss your chance to be apart of this great race, for a great cause!
Registered participants of the physical & virtual 10k & 5k race will receive a gender specific race shirt and a Coast Guard themed finisher medal. The T-shirt deadline for physical and virtual races is April 14, 2019, all registration received after the deadline date will not receive a shirt.

Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the title "Waiting List" plus your first name, last name, and email address. Runners/Walkers are chosen to fill open spots on a first come, first serve basis.
