Who is Cameron Fitzwater
Cameron was a senior at PCHS and SWVGS, who lived and loved life to the fullest. He was Captain of the Wrestling Team, Captain of the Math MACC Team, participated in track, drama, choir, Young Life and Boy Scouts where he was an accomplished Eagle Scout. Cameron's true love was the outdoors. In his free time you could find him either kayaking, rock climbing, hiking, hunting, swimming or camping . Cameron is known for his signature smile and his bear hugs to all that entered in his path.
Cameron describing himself in his own words
"I love the outdoors more than anything else in this world. It allows me to find peace in the middle of turmoil. If I could be hiking, climbing, or kayaking, I would be doing so right now. I love music, it is my outlet for emotion when my pen nor my mouth can loose the feelings I have. I am a strange individual honestly, but I am one of a kind, and that is exactly how I like it. I love everyone no matter how they have wronged me. I love this Earth no matter how many times it has caused me pain."
In Cameron's memory a scholarship fund has been established. Four PCHS graduating seniors are awarded 4-$1000 scholarships. The Cameron Fitzwater Memorial Scholarship has awarded $8,000 in scholarships to date.
