About This Activity
Tour the beautiful countryside around central NJ with cyclists from all over the eastern US. Tours range from an easy 16-mile ride to a scenic century, from flats to rolling hills. Families can once again participate in the 2nd annual 8 mile FAMILY RIDE. (Pre-registration is required for this ride.) If you pre-register by July 23, you get faster check-in and a FREEEvent T-Shirt. ALL registrants are welcome to enjoy our rest stop snacks, a post-ride BBQ sytle lunch, and are invited to shop at our on-site food and vendor area. Additionally, a DJ will provide music from 11am - 3pm at the college campus area.
ONCE AGAIN, DOOR PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED AND INCLUDE COMP REGISTRATION FOR THE 2015 EVENT, LIMITED PFW MEMBERSHIPS, AND MORE! ADDITIONAL DETAILS WILL BE POSTED LATER ON THE PFW WEBSITE.
Note: DAY-OF-EVENT registration for adults is $35, and $10 age 16 or under. CASH or CHECKS ONLY will be accepted. NO T-SHIRT included with Day-of-Event registration.
Event schedule and times
The Event begins at 7am and ends at 4:30pm. No services or personnel will be available after 4:30pm. Lunch will be served from 11am-3:30pm; however, food will be available until 4:30pm.

RIDE START TIMES: 7am-9am - 100 MILES 7am-10am - 50/65 MILES 8am-11am - 35 MILES 8:30am-11am - 16/25 MILES 10:30am - 8 MILE FAMILY RIDE* *BRING OUT THE FAMILY! - A GUIDED FAMILY RIDE ON A PAVED BICYCLE PATH - APPROXIMATELY 8 MILES LONG. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. PARTICIPATION IS LIMITED. DIRECTIONS TO START:
From North or South via US-1 EXIT onto Quakerbridge Road, South CR 533. After 2 miles, turn LEFT onto Hughes Drive. Follow Hughes Dr past Mercer County Park and south entrance of Mercer County Community College. Turn LEFT at Traffic Light onto CR 535 (Edinburg Rd) to MCCC campus entrance at jughandle.
From North or South via Interstate 95/295 Note that 95N becomes 295S: From 295 use exit 65A Sloan Avenue East which becomes Flock Road to Edinburg Road. TURN LEFT onto Edinburg Road to campus entrance at jughandle.
From North via NJ Turnpike NJ Turnpike Exit 8 at Hightstown onto 33 West. West on 33 to 571 in downtown Hightstown. RIGHT onto 571. Continue on 571 to 535. LEFT onto 535 (Old Trenton Road) five miles to campus entrance on right, after Mercer County Park. From South via NJ Turnpike Turnpike Exit 7A (Interstate 195). West on I-195 to exit 5B (first exit off I-195). North on US-130 to second light (526). LEFT onto 526 to first light. BEAR RIGHT at light then take IMMEDIATE RIGHT (still 526) to 535 (Old Trenton Road). LEFT onto 535, two miles to campus entrance on right, after Mercer County Park. From East Take Rt. 33 West until you see signs for Rt. 133 West. Turn RIGHT on 133 West. Take 133 to the end, exiting onto 571 West. Move to left and turn LEFT on 535/Old Trenton Road. Follow Old Trenton Road approximately 5 miles. MCCC is on the right.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
1. Am I required to wear a helmet during the ride? Yes. All riders must wear a helmet while cycling. 2. Does The Event take place if it rains? Yes! The Event is held rain or shine. If you choose not to ride due to the weather, you can still check in at the registration desk to get your T-Shirt (pre-registration required) and enjoy the BBQ style lunch and DJ. 3. What time do I have to be there? Ride start times are as follows:

Please arrive in time to sign in, etc. YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO START A RIDE AFTER THE ABOVE LISTED LATEST START TIME. 4. Will bike mechanics be available during the ride? Sponsoring bike shops will provide mechanical assistance at MCCC and at several rest stops. In addition, SAG (Safety And Gear) vehicle drivers will have limited basic supplies such as tubes and pumps and can help with basic repairs when riders come properly equipped but run out of supplies. Bike mechanics are not able to provide full services during the ride, so be sure to get a tune up and have your bike ready before the event. They may have some small items for purchase, water bottles, tubes etc. 5. Will there be rest stops with food, water and restrooms? Yes! Rest stops will be stocked with snacks and drinks, and bathroom facilities will be available. 6. What meals are provided? Cyclists and volunteers will be provided with a Finish Line barbeque style lunch at MCCC beginning at 11:30 and served until 3:30. 7. What if I cannot finish the ride? If for any reason you are unable to continue during the ride, a SAG (Safety And Gear) vehicle will bring you and your bicycle to the nearest rest stop or MCCC. 8. If I can't make the ride, will you mail me my t-shirt? No, but you can pick up your shirt on the day even if you choose not to ride. 9. Can someone hold my t-shirt until the end when I can pick it up? Unfortunately, we have no place to keep your T-shirt. You should place it in your car if you do not want to ride with it. 10. Do you take credit cards? The PFW can only take cash or checks. 11. What happens if I pre-registered, but my name was not on the list? You will be required to pay at registration. The club will issue you a refund if your registration on Active.com is found or has been received by US Mail.
