About This Activity

The Patriot Run is a patriotic themed event that highlights the Prescott Valley Healing Field of Northern Arizona. The Healing Field is a memorial of nearly 3,000 American Flags that represent the lives lost on 9/11. The 10K, 5K, and 1 mile fun run will start and finish at the Healing Field. The course for the 10K, 5K, and 1 mile follows a relatively flat route around the Town of Prescott Valley. All participants are encouraged to dress up in a patriotic theme to represent the Good Ol' USA. There will be prizes given to Most Patriotic Kid (15 and younger,) the Most Patriotic Guy (16 and up,) and the Most Patriotic Lady (16 and up.) There will be a public service element as well with fire trucks and police vehicles on display and a Kids Physical Agility Test (KPAT) course. The KPAT is a miniature version of the physical testing that future firefighters have to complete before starting their career as a fulltime firefighter. There will be a fun raffle drawing to round out the event.
