About This Activity

Run Mama Run is a Mother’s Day event for the whole family. Join us for a day of fitness, fun and entertainment. Parents cheer on kids as they participate in the Fun Run and kids cheer on mamas (and papas) as they pass through the finish line after a 10K run or 5K run/walk through beautiful forested Mt. Tabor park.

Tabor park.

You don’t have to run (or walk) to have a great time. There will be crafts and a playground for kids, a fun raffle with amazing prizes, and a complimentary breakfast of fruit, pastries, coffee, tea and hot cocoa. Scroll down for more info.

Event day schedule

8:30 - 9:30am - Check-in/Registration & breakfast
9:30am - Kid’s Fun Run
10:00am - 10K run & 5K walk (kid’s crafts)
11:30am - Raffle

Event day details

Event & Parking Locations (Click for directions):
On the day of the event, everyone will meet at the covered picnic area in Mt. Tabor Park for sign-in/late registration, breakfast, and raffle tickets. Please click the map to find the picnic shelter, race start and finish locations and where to find parking.

About the Kid’s Fun Run:
The Kid’s Fun Run is a 1/4 mile event for children of all ages. The cost of this event is free without a t-shirt. Parents are welcome and encouraged to run with kids at no extra cost.

Jogging strollers at the event:
This is a stroller friendly event. Jogging strollers are welcome in all of the events.

Water:
There will be a hydration station with cups of water available during and after the event located near the start of the course.

Bathrooms:
The bathrooms at Mt. Tabor Park are located near the start of the event (adjacent to the parking lot, across from the picnic shelter).

Clothing:
Mt. Tabor is very shaded and temperatures can be quite cool in the morning. Dress in layers and prepare for the possibility of rain. Also consider bringing hats for kiddos so that they have a pleasant experience too!

Pets at the event:
This is a pet friendly event, as long as your pets are friendly with kids. Please clean up after dogs and keep them on a leash at all times.

After race party and raffle:
The after race party will include snacks, drinks and a raffle with great prizes.
