We're back to kick off the start of Fall with the second annual Oaks Park Oktoberfest 5k Fun Run and Kids 1k! A scenic course along the Springwater trail ending in the heart of Oaks Park. Recruit your friends, pull on your lederhosen* and come out and be a part of the festivities!
*For the brave of heart - a costume contest! Show up in your best traditional German attire and win the coveted best dressed prize...of course, a festive German Beer Stein!
T-shirt, swag bag and free entry to the Oktoberfest event is included for all race participants.
Great food, live music, beer garden, games/contests, dancing, kid activities and more. You won’t want to miss this Portland favorite!
Benefactor: We are thrilled to be donating a portion of our proceeds to a local non-profit, Victory Academy; an accredited, private school in Wilsonville, Oregon that offers a "comprehensive educational and therapeutic program" to children and teens affected by Autism.
NOTE: Strollers will be allowed on course but please be aware that the route may differ slightly in order to re-enter Oaks Park's gates safetly. Thank you for your understanding.
