About This Activity

The Rotary Club of Holiday is proud to host the Double Dawg Challenge as a fundraiser to eradicate polio. The event includes a 5k run, 3k paddle or for those who DARE to compete in both races to complete the Double Dawg Dare. 
5k RUN:
The 5k run will be a flat, fast course on the Port Richey bike path from Gill Dawg Marina to Brasher Park and back. Enjoy beautiful scenes of the Gulf during your run. There are no discernible inclines and is a great course to get your best time. Participants of all ages are welcome to compete in the 5k.
The 3k paddle will be held on the beautiful Cottee River in Port Richey. Highlighting Port Richey's hot spots to dine and night life, you will enjoy all that PR has to offer. Food, fun, and the beauty of nature. 
Double Dawg Dare:
For those looking for a little more of a challenge; sign up for our Double Dawg Dare to complete both races as a solo competitor or as a relay team. The relay will be comprised of one runner and one paddler. 

*All paddlers are required to have a PFD.

Awards are available in the following Race Classes:

13 & Under






Awards will be to the top placing finisher in each age group in the Run, Paddle and the DDD. Those competing as a relay team, each participant will be eligilble for an award in the leg that they participate in.
