Run for the Son 5k

Our Parish will be sponsoring a 5k Run/walk on the morning of March 21, 2015 to benefit the OLG Capital Campaign. 

Letter from Fr. Tommy Chen

I am very excited to present to you the new plans for the renovation project for OLG Catholic Church and to ask your prayers and financial support for the achievement of this bold endeavor. Since becoming your pastor in August of 2013, I've gotten a good sense of what you would like to see accomplished in the renovation project. The consenses that I gathered was that you wanted:

1. Bathroom for the church 

2. better lighting and sound 

3. An improved air conditioning system 

4. a welcoming and gathering space 

5. and additional seating to meet the needs of the larger two weekend masses and special holy days.

So won't you please join in the realization of this dream for our parish family and for the future of the Catholic faith in Port Lavaca by joining us at this event. 

Event details and schedule

Opening Ceremony starts at 7:30 am and race will start at approximately 8:15 am at the KC Hall parking lot. 

Please be sure to get there early to pick up your race packet if you have not done so already.

Packet pick up will be on March 20, 2015 at St. Jude Hall, 300 W.  Austin, Port Lavaca, Tx 77979.
