On the Run 80's 5K (WBR Relay for Life)

The purpose of this event is to gather the West Baton Rouge  community together to participate in a 5K walk/run to benefit the American Cancer Society. On The Run Team participates and fundraises for West Baton Rouge Rely for Life.  All proceeds will benefit American Cancer Soicety.  This year our theme is 80s.   Participants are encouraged to dress up in 80s gear, hair, glass, etc!  Be creative!

Event schedule and times

Race day registration for the 5K event will begin at 8:00am  CST.  Meet us at the levee at the end of court street in Port Allen, Louisiana

All times are in Central Time

Schedule:

8:00-8:45 am- registration & packet pick up (t-shirt and race bib)

8:45-9:00 am- warm up with Coach Sha's Bootcamp

9:00am 5K walk/run begins with Brusly High School Cheerleaders

After "party" to be held at the finish line.  There you will be able to purchase soft drinks and shirts.   Stay tuned for more information.
