Firecracker 5k

Who's excited about 4th of July festivities in Plains this year!? How about a 5k fun run/walk followed by a delicious breakfast provided by the Plains Lions Club and Plains Rural Fire department?! Starting and finishing with music and family fun at the Plains/Paradise Rural Fire Department, where spectators and anyone else can enjoy breakfast while runners/walkers race!

Entry Fees & Packet Pickup:

$20 for kids 14 & Under.

$25 through Noon (Mountain Time) on Thursday, August 10th. (Ages 15 & Over)

Online registration ends at Noon (Mountain Time) on Monday, July 2nd.  After that time, registration will only be available in person at packet pickup/late registration (see below).

Registrations completed by noon on 6-22-18 will be able to select a shirt size for their swag.  After this time, all participants will receive a cinch bag with the logo instead of a shirt.  Shirts will not be available the day of the race.

Packet Pickup and late registration will be available on race morning (Wednesday, July 4th) from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM (Mountain Time) at the Plains/Paradise Rural Fire Department.  (To help make sure that the race starts on time, please make sure to arrive for packet pickup/late registration by 8:00 AM.) 

Race day registration fee $25 for 14 & under and $30 for 15 & Over
Start Time: 8:00 AM (Mountain Time)

Distance & Course:  5K (3.1 Miles) Entirely paved, flat out and back course (starts and finishes at the Fire Department)

Breakfast of pancakes, ham, fruit and coffee/juice will be served from 8-11 am. Registration for the Firecracker 5k includes the cost of breakfast for participants. Cost of breakfast for non-participants will be $5! So gather up your friends and enjoy the 4th of July fun with us!
