About This Activity

Welcome to the first ever Ross Get Out and Get Fit 5K.The 5K run/walk is a two loop course beginning on Ross Park Mall Dr. at Bartlett Field (located in the back of the mall across from Macy’s and Penney’s).  Both the 5K run/walk and the 1 mile fun run will begin together promptly at 8:00 AM. The race will proceed in a counterclockwise direction toward Sears.  The first mile will be fast and flat with the 1 mile fun run finish line on the far side of Macy’s. The 5K will continue past Bartlett Field and go down the hill toward Patrick Place.  Then turn left onto Cheryl Drive and up the hill  to the finish line at Bartlett Field.

Race t-shirts are guarenteed to all runners/walkers who register before 8/10/15.  After 8/10 while supplies last.

Event details and schedule

5K Awards: Trophies to the top 3 overall male and female runners. Participation ribbons to all participants 12 and under. Medals to the top 3 male and female runners in the following age groups: 10 and under, 11-13, 14-16, 17-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+.  No duplication of awards.

1 Mile Fun Run: This event will not have an official time and runners will not need race chips.  All participants will receive a finisher ribbon. Strollers are welcome at both events.

Parking-There is ample parking at Ross Park Mall. The course will close to traffic at 7:45 AM and will remain closed until 9:00 AM.  If you arrive late or need to leave early please park at Home Depot.
