About This Activity
The first annual Night Up the Light Glow Run will be held in conjunction with the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life of Pearl River County/Picayune will kick-off from Jack Read Park following our Luminaria service. Our Glow Run will feature lots of fun and excitment including Remedy Rocks a local up and coming band. Race Map will be available in your registration packet.

Relay For Life of Pearl River County/Picayune 4:00pm until 10:00 pm
Light Up the Night Glow Run starts following the luminaria service (approximately 9:30 pm) at Jack Read Park. Packets can be picked up at Jack Read Park starting at noon on Saturday, May 9, 2015. Please consider coming early, our Relay For Life event starts at 4:00 pm and we have lots of fun and entertainment planned before the race. Bring your family out to enjoy the afternoon and evening while celebrating survivors, honoring the lost and joining in our quest to find a cure for cancer. All proceeds from the race and the days activities provided much needed funds for the American Cancer Society to continue cutting edge research, education and prevention programs. Remember you make a difference. We welcome those who get into the true spirit and are glowing when they arrive. Visit you local dollar store and come decked in glowing fashions.
Check-in starts at 6pm and will continue until 8:00 pm. NO REGISTRATIONS AFTER NOON ON SATURDAY, MAY 9, 2015. NO CHECK IN ALLOWED DURING LUMINARIA SERVICE. YOU MUST BE CHECKED and PACKET PICKED UP BY 8:30 PM.
5K will start at Jack Read Park and follow Goodyear Blvd. then down 5th Ave., up 4th Ave. down 3rd Ave. over on Norwood Street and Quince Street and end back at Jack Read Park. Live Band to play during 5K. Runners will receive t-shirt and glow sticks. We encourage everyone to come decked out in their GLOW WEAR (jewelry, glasses, necklaces) the more you glow the better.
Goodyear Blvd. will be closed from Quice Street down 2 blocks starting at 12 noon on Saturday to allow for set-up for Relay.
