About This Activity

Run Wild at the Zoo for a Great Cause!

Runners & walkers enjoy a unique experience at the nation's oldest Zoo while helping to free the world of Parkinson’s disease. Enjoy an extraordinary opportunity to run inside and outside the world famous Philadelphia Zoo before it is open to the public! This is a USATF Certified and chip-timed course by Chester County Running Store. Philly's hottest radio station WIRED 96.5 FM gets the party started! Fee (early bird price starts at $30 and goes up) includes admission to the Zoo after the run or walk (that's a value up to $20!)

As a special bonus, the first 150 'Rabbit Runners' who register will receive free Rabbit Ears! Free T-Shirts are available as supplies last. Parking is available for a fee at the zoo.  Spectators can buy a ticket to the zoo at a reduced rate the day of the event.

April is Parkinson's Awareness Month! "Fun-Raising" is encouraged because Parkinson's isn't going to cure itself. Top fundraiser wins a SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB PRO!  Also, become a Rabbit Ambassador (kind of like a Team Captain but only warmer & fuzzier) and form a Team. First place prize is FITBIT for the Rabbit Ambassador (aka Team Captain) who recruits the most Rabbit Runners!

Be Well Philly wrote about last year’s run…the Philly Rabbit Run at the Zoo is one of "10 Spring 5Ks to have on Your Radar”.
