About This Activity
About Globe Hope
Globe Hope is the Humanitarian Aid arm of Globe International. Our mission is to:
- Save lives
- Serve Needs
- Empower People
Currently, this program serves over 280 impoverished children in 4 countries in children’s homes (orphanages and foster homes) and educational programs. Our goal is a safe, healthy and nurturing Christ-lefted environment where every child can embrace life and discover his or her purpose. This run provides us with the chance to raise money and awareness for Globe Hope. Our goal this year is to help with the cost of educating the children in our programs in Nicaragua, Kenya, Honduras and Costa Rica.
Event details and schedule
Packet pick-up will be Friday, June 12th at the Pensacola Interstate Fairgrounds 3:00 – 6:00pm and Saturday, June 13th 5:30 – 6:30am. Race bags will include T-shirts, race numbers and other goodies. The race course will open at 7 a.m. and close at 8:30 a.m.
Awards will be given for top overall male and female finishers. Awards will also be given for the individual and team that raises the most money. Youth and school groups will compete against each other for the Grand Prize – a Pizza Party courtesy of Globe Hope.
