A GREAT RACE FOR BEGINNERS, This year is our 20th Annual Triathlon!
The creator, Jackie Kallal, was a beautifully vibrant and energetic athlete with a compassion for hard working families to have the opportunity of decent affordable housing.
This triathlon is just one of the six she created in our tri-county area to benefit our local Habitat for Humanity organizations.
Chip Timing and T-Shirts
The swim is 1/2 mile open water, in a clean lake (avg. temp 72 degrees), wet suits permitted.
NOT A CLOSED COURSE,
The bike is 9 1/2 miles, suitable for race or street bikes. Rolling terrain with 1 moderate hill. Helmets required, no exceptions.
The run is 3.3 miles with aid stations every mile. rolling hills. No Walkmans or IPods.
Individual registration is by age or by weight: Athena (Wm. >150)., Clydesdale (M. > 200). Age catagories: M/F: 19 & under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65+
Team registration is Male, Female or Co-Ed.
Post race party includes great food and beverages, awards, music and door prizes! No alcohol in the park.

Race day registration: 7:30 A.M. to 8:30 A.M. Fees DAY OF RACE: $65 Individual and $90 Team
An optional pre-race overview will be provided Friday night (6/10/16) at 7:00 P.M. It is strongly recommended for first time participants. Meet at the main beach area.
All pre-registrants are eligble to pick up their registration packets and race day supplies at the beach pavilion on Friday night (6/10/2016) from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
Rental timing chips will be issued morning of race event.
Kelli McDermitt and Phyllis Byers, Massage Therapists, will be on-site race day to assist participants.
