About This Activity
Find a friend for this brand new 10k Relay event in the beautiful, quaint community of Pass Christian, Mississippi.
Each relay runner will cover the same 5k course for a combined finishing time and a chance at winning some fabulous prizes and awards. There will be actual baton exchages and a festive transition zone to keep participants in the relay spirit!
BURGERS, BEER, and yes ...even A BAND will help keep the festvities going, across the street, at at Shaggy's Bar and Grill!

People like to participate in running events with their friends, so we wanted to create a format that would allow you to get your best "buddy" out there racing with you!
ENTER THE RELAY!
So how is this going to work??
The first relay member will run the 5K course and a baton exchange will take place in a relay transition zone. The second relay member then runs the same 5K course through to the finish line. Both runners will be issued the same bib number and it is recommended that you dress in a way so that it is easy to sight one another!
Custom engraved baton to the first 352 registered!
AWARDS:
Top 10 in each category (male, female, mixed) will be awarded something unique! Awards will also go to the 1st place parent/child, siblings, husband/wife, and grandparent/child teams. Come in costume for additional special awards!
******Special category entry will occur on site 60-90 minutes prior to race start******

This will be couples only!
No partner? No Worries! Our Singles Bar will open 90 minutes prior to race start so you can meet your match! Sign up via paper form (found at www.hurricanems.com) and come out early to find your perfect partner! A great way to meet a new running friend!
