Battle on Buffett Beach is a 5k obstacle race in the sand in Pascagoula, MS. There will be at least 20 obstacles including a vertical wall, hurdles, over/under trench, balance over water, rope climb, tire run, culvert crawl, monkey bars, sand hill challenges, and much more. There will be a youth obstacle course for kids ages 6-13 and the main race course is available for youths ages 14-17 and adults ages 18 and up. There is an elite race division, individual division and team division registration available.

Race Organizers will send emails to race participants starting October 1, 2021 with more information regarding general information, hotels, training tips, shuttle service, what to wear and bring, and more.

This course will have various obstacles including some that will simulate what a first responders and military might go through. Teams will need to stick together and finish each obstacle as a team before moving forward. For more information click on the Heroes Challenge Teams button up above.
The winning team will receive the Heroes Challenge Trophy: THE GLORY and bragging rights for a full year! THE GLORY will be handed down each year to the next winning team.
All competitors will receive a finishers medal, t-shirt, goody bag, and refreshments on the day of the race.

Racers should arrive at Beach Park on Saturday a minimum of ONE HOUR ahead of their heat to Check-In.
The Finish Line will be on the beach at the Beach Park Pier.
Elite racers will be required to complete ALL of the obstacles to be considered for an award. The only burpee's that will be allowed are at the burpee station near the end of the race. There will be a chute marked by shark fins at the sand dunes and all racers must enter the obstacles between the shark fins. Any avoidance of obstacles will result in a DNF (did not finish).
Open racers will be required to make a valid attempt at all obstacles. If an attempt is made but the obstacle is not successfully completed, a designated set of burpees will be allowed for a racer to be considered for 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in their category. There will be a chute marked by shark fins at the sand dunes and all racers must enter the obstacles between the shark fins. Any avoidance of obstacles will result in a DNF (did not finish), meaning the racer cannot be considered for an award.
