About This Activity

Tour South Walton's scenic highway 30A and give yourself an excuse to go for that second slice of pumpkin pie with the 5th Annual 30A 10K Thanksgiving Day race and 1 Mile fun run in Rosemary Beach Florida.

The race both starts and finishes in the beautiful town of Rosemary Beach. The out and back course winds along Scenic Highway 30A offering breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico, Camp Creek Coastal Dune lake and takes runners past pristine beach communities.

The 30A 10K has donated over $150,000 to local charities during the first four years of our race. For 2016 we are looking to surpass the $48,000 donated to local charities in 2015. We will announce our three charities for 2016 very soon. We are very excited!

Race Info

The 30A 10K is a family friendly event for first time runners looking to compete in their first 10K, and for the competitive runner looking to qualify for a nationally sanctioned race.

The 30A Thanksgiving 10K is limited to 2,000 participants and 1,000participants for the 1 Mile Fun Run. All 30A 10K participants will receive a commemorative 30A 10K Medal. All 1 Mile Fun Run Participants will receive a commemorative 1 Mile Fun Run Medal. T-shirts and a 30A 10K items will be provided for everyone. However, we cannot guarantee your t-shirt size if registered after October 31st 2016.

10K Race

Prizes will be award to the top finishers of the 10K race for each category, with special prizes awarded to Overall Male and Female race winner. All 30A 10K participants will receive a commemerative 30A 10K Medal.

 The 30A 10K is CERTIFIED so your race times can be used as qualifier times for top races across the country.

Packet Pick Up and Fall Festival at 30Avenue Wednesday November 23rd. More details to follow.

The race begins at 7:30 am and features aid stations along the route. Participates are asked to arrive at least one hour prior to the race start to allow ample time for parking and race preparation. Scenic 30A closes at 7am. Both lanes of 30A will be closed for runners safety and to have an awesome race. An awards ceremony will conclude the festivities.
