About This Activity

The Palouse River Duathlon is an annual race on the 2nd Saturday in June that embraces the beauty of the Palouse Region and the hospitality of a small town. Come enjoy a beginner friendly race, and experience the challenge of our course and the satisfaction of crossing the finish line.

Show time: Race Packets/Registration opens at 7:30am             

Go Time: 9:02am start

Awards: Start around 11:30am. (Awards go to top 3 winners per division)

Prices reflect Early-registration cost (On or before June 13th) Prices increase $5 on day of race.

           INDIVIDUAL ENTRY -$35

          2-PERSON TEAM       -$60

          3-PERSON TEAM       -$90

Student Price is $10 off per competitor (Collegiate students included)

We allow 2 person teams and 3 person teams. Prizes to the following 3 divisions

Venue: The Start/Finish, transition area, registration, all are based out of the Palouse City Park 505 W. Main St.

Course: 2 mile run, 10 mile bike, 2 mile run. The run course (same for both legs) involves pavement, gravel roads, dirt path and grass. The bike course is primarily gravel roads and little pavement (Caution to road bikes), Cyclocross and Hybrids are welcome. We have no official limitation on bikes. We just don’t want people showing up expecting an all paved ride.
