About This Activity
Sutherland CrossFit is a gym located in Palm Harbor right on the Pinellas Trail. We have been open over two years, and this is our first big event! We are hosting a 5k run or walk! Before the run begins, there will be a complimentary yoga session at Wallsprings Park! Join us to stretch and lengthen your muscles before you hit the trail. Don't forget your mat! The run will then begin on the Pinellas Trail also located near Wall Springs Park. After the 5k has been completed, grab a complimentary slice of pizza from Hungry Howies. Our motto at the gym is "Get Better Every Day" and we hope this event will motivate you to do the same!
The owner of Sutherland CrossFit, Mike Woodburn, started this gym out of his garage, eventually moving to this location to grow in the community. His mother was an advoacte for the gym and one of the first members. Unfortunately, she passed away from lung cancer after the first year it was open. Joanne stays with us at the gym, and for her, we will be donating a portion of the proceeds to local cancer groups such as Moffitt Cancer Center for their research into lung cancer. And one of Joanne's own groups, the cancer support at YMCA located right here in Palm Harbor. We hope for lots of support for this event in order to make a large donation in her name.
***At the end of our event, we have partnered up with Stilthouse Brewery located on the trail in Palm Harbor, for discounted drinks if you're wearing a Sutherland CrossFit T-shirt.***

7:30 am: Check in at Sutherland CrossFit
8 am- Complimentary yoga session!
9 am- 5k begins
10 am- Celebratory food and drinks!
11 am- Stilthouse Brewery
Run along the pinellas trail starting and finishing near Wall Springs Park a Sutherland CrossFit
Please arrive at Sutherland CrossFit the morning of, and parking along the back or at Wall Springs Park
Bring your signed waiver and ID at check in, anyone under 18 must have parent sign waiver.
Wear comfortable work out clothes and shoes, a tshirt will be given to you there.
We will offer up food and beverages after the events, but feel free to bring any food or drink necessary for you.
