About This Activity

     Participants can support the Child Survival Project in Port-au-Prince, Haiti by running -- or walking! -- the 5k or 10k race on January 17.  100% of the race registration fees go to the Child Survival Project, which has operated since 1968 in an effort to reduce infant mortality by providing care for mothers and their young children.  Donations to sponsor a runner are also accepted at for those who can't be there to run.

    Free T-shirts will be given to the first 100 to register, and runners are welcomed to enjoy a free breakfast.  An arts and crafts station for children, music by For We Know, and free prizes for winners will also be provided for runners' enjoyment, so don't miss it!

Event Details:

The race takes place on Saturday, January 17 at Flagler Park in Downtown Stuart.  Registration begins at 7 a.m. and the race starts at 8.  All are welcome to attend, runners and walkers alike!  Registration gets participants a free breakfast and a T-shirt (for the first 100).  Be sure to wear clothes suitable for running and/or walking, and an arts and craft station will be there to get children involved.

5k: $20 through January 16, $25 on site

10k: $35 through January 16, $40 on site
