Lake Powell, named after famed explorer John Wesley Powell, is the largest man-made reservoir in the United States. Over 2 million people visit the area each year to play on the lake as well as visit its adjacent natural attractions including Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, and the Grand Canyon.
In 2020, we'll host the 8th annual Lake Powell Half Marathon. This event gets more popular every year, yet somehow doesn't feel overwhelming. The course starts in Page, AZ and finishes right on Lake Powell at Stateline Boat Ramp in the beautiful Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. When the race is over, go explore and play!
Note: Race registration does not include entrance into the park. You will need to purchase a park pass if you plan to enter the park during your trip.
