One Small Step to Build a Stronger Community!
The Space Race is a 2 and 4 mile walk/run throughout Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex that benefits United Way of Brevard. The walk/run journeys participants through the historic Rocket Garden featuring eight authentic rockets, the booster stack that graces the entryway to Space Shuttle Atlantis® and to Heroes & Legends featuring the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame®.
Winners in each category will receive their award from veteran NASA astronaut Jon McBride. After the race, enjoy a beer or wine in the Rocket Garden at the after-race party.
This family-friendly event is open to guests of runners for $2.50 through online registration or $5.00 day of race.
