About This Activity

The 4th annual Orlando Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K takes place on a scenic, point-to-point course on the Sunday following Veteran's Day.  Hosted by Veterans, the event benefits breast cancer vaccine research involving Veterans at the San Antonio Military Medical Center.
The races start at the majestic Lake Baldwin Harbor Park and go through Veterans Memorial Park, and past the VA Clinic.  After 1.5 loops, the course proceeds one block East to the beautiful, tree-shaded Cady Way Trail.  (5K will run only one+ loops around the Lake and finish.)  There are no major hills and a few curves as the course follows the Cady Way Trail northbound to Forsyth Road with its turnaround, then winding back to the Southern leg of the Trail.
Marathoners will repeat the Cady Way Trail twice, travelling around the Fashion Square Mall their first time.  Half Marathoners will run the Cady Way Trail only once.   You will finish the last 1.25 miles running back around Lake Baldwin to the starting point with cheering spectators motivating you to cross the finish line!  This is a timed event, however EVERYONE who finishes will receive a 9 inch, marble based, Winners Trophy!  This event includes 2 hours of live music from a local VFW community band.  800-participant limit, so please register early to ensure a spot!
