About This Activity
As a kickoff to Orange's annual Summer Solstice Festival, the Walnut Hill Challenge was designed to be fun and challenging. It starts at newly renovated Butterfield Park and skirts the southern edge of town before tackling two climbs, each about 1/2 a mile long. With the second half of the course built for speed, we expect most will finish strong at the Boat House just down East River Street from the starting line. It is our hope that participants sweat a little and then enjoy our wonderful community celebration and even invite them and volunteers to open RiverFest 2015 with a post race dip in the Millers River. Hope to see you there!
