About This Activity

Join United Way for the 5th annual St Paddy’s Day 5K Run/Walk in downtown Ocala to benefit the United Way of Marion County’s work in health and wellness.

Hosted by Youth United Way, the organization’s high school program for juniors and seniors who are looking for ways to expand their leadership qualities while contributing to their community through volunteering, fundraising and advocating for issues important to the United Way.

The St Paddy’s Day 5K Run/Walk will begin at 8:00 am and goes through part of Ocala’s historic district south of Fort King Street.

Event details and schedule

    1. Take advantage of our convenient Early Packet Pick up on Friday, March 6th from 9 am to 6 pm at Palm Chevrolet showroom located at 2300 SW College Road, Ocala and you'll get your choice of fun St. Patrick theme race accessories! If you can't make it on Friday, you can pick up your race packet at the Downtown Square Saturday morning starting at 6:30 am until 7:45 am.
    2. Click here to view your parking options. Don't forget the Ocala Farmer's Market starts at 8am, so the "former chamber" parking lot will not be available. 
    3. The race will promptly start at 8 am.
    4. If you are participating in the "Luck of the Irish" Costume Contest, please make sure you are there by 7:30 am for judging. 
    5. All runners will be entered to win gift cards from The Runners Pace store located in the Paddock Mall.
