About This Activity
The Good Deeds 4 Special Needs 5K Run/Walk will be taking place at The Baseline Road Trailhead Greenway. The park features a five-mile, paved multi-use trail that is situated along former pastures which are being restored to the original, longleaf pine, sandhill community. This trailhead, is managed by The Marion County Parks and Recreation and offers parking and amenities and, thanks to the generosity of the Felburn Foundation, a barrier-free, Boundless Playground®, designed to enable children of all abilities to learn and play freely together.

The Good Deeds 4 Special Needs 5K Run/Walk is sponsored by The Pilot Club of Ocala.
The proceeds from this run will go to two different organizations in Ocala with a desire to help mentally impared children and adults. Transitional Life Center (TLC) has a focus to provide a safe, caring adn enriching community for phsically and mentally impared adults. We Who Care provides social andrecreational opportunities forindividuals with special needs in Maion County.
7:00 - 7:30am = Race Day Registrations
7:30am = Warm Up
8:00am = 5K Run/Walk
9:00am = Awards & Refreshments
Free Parking is located on the Baseliine Greenway property.
Water and refreshements will be availalbe for the participants.
Please bring lawn chairs if you need a place to sit while waiting for the run to finish.
