About This Activity

That's right...we're an accounting firm and we "Run the Numbers", but when we aren't busy doing tax returns, we like to raise money for local Maine charities! This year we have partnered with the Boys & Girls Club and YMCA of Greater Waterville at Alfond Youth Center.

Saturday, June 17, 2017 will mark the 8th Annual PFBF CPAs road race. The race will be professionally timed and will start and end at the office of PFBF CPAs located at 46 First Park Drive, Oakland, ME.  This year's 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run proceeds will support the Camp Tracy Campership Fund, serving youth in the Greater Waterville Area.  Camp opportunities are provided for over 1,000 children each summer.  At Camp Tracy, children are taught team building skills, leadership, and independence skills through a wide variety of daily activities while having a positive social experience.  By supporitng this year's event, you'll make it possible for Camp Tracy and the Alfond Youth Center to expand and enrich the services they provide to the youth that need them the most.

Over the past 7 years, Perry,Fitts, Boulette, & Fitton CPAs, our accounting firm located in Oakland and Bath, Maine has raised over $100,000 for various Maine charities with the help and support of race participants and their community.

The Kids Fun Run will start and finish in the parking lot of PFBF CPAs at 8:30 a.m., followed by the 5K Run/Walk at 9:00 a.m.  There is no fee or registration needed for the KIDS FUN RUN and each kid will receive BIB #1.

5K-ers! Register before June 1st and receive a sport-tek race t-shirt! 

Registration Fees:

Pre-registration (before June 16) $25; Race day $30

Students (ages 13-18) $15 

Youth 5K (12 & under) $10

Kids Fun Run (ages 3-12)..FREE ...just have fun! No registration needed.

Waive your registration fee by raising a minimum of $50! Just hit the "donate" button then click "Become A Fundraiser" and get started!

**All fundraisers must create a fundraising page in order to qualify**

In addition to race t-shirt, any participant who:

Raises $250 or more- receives a 1/4 zip pullover with race logo!

Raises $500 or more-receives a soft shell jacket with race logo!

Top individual fundraiser will receive a Rogue Wear Hybrid Backpack with race logo! (Must raise a minimum of $250)

Top TEAM fundraiser: Camp Tracy Team Party (3 hours for up to 50 people) including – Game on Fenway (Kickball or Softball), Waterfront (Swimming & Boating), Archery, Ropes Course! (Must raise a minimum of $1,000).


1st Place Overall Male/Female Finishers $250

2nd Place Overall Male/Female Finishers $150

3rd Place Overall Male/Female Finishers $75

Top Finishers in each age category- $30 gift card to Lamey Wellehan!

Post-race party and awards ceremony immediately following the race.
