About This Activity
The Interface Children & Family Services Run for Families 2015 presented by Stevenson Fitness is a 5K run/walk that takes place in beautiful Oak Park, California. The group of organizers of this event, Interface's Youth Advisory Council, is made up of teens that want to make a significant change in our community to help our fellow teens in need. Please help us to achieve our fundraising goal of $20,000 for this event to assist us in contributing to our newly established Runaway & Homeless Youth Shelter that opened its doors to the community in December 2014.
More on Interface Children & Family Services:
For over 40 years, Interface has been our region’s most comprehensive social service agency, dedicated to helping children and families in crisis. Most families struggling with issues like domestic violence or child abuse can’t find the help they need. Interface is that safety net for 165,000 people a year through the 2-1-1 information and referral line, and 20,000 just here in our region with life-saving services like shelter and counseling. Interface rescues abused Mom’s in the middle of the night, teaches thousands of kids and parents how to stop child abuse before it happens, and helps thousands of runaway teens get back home after conflict has ripped their families apart. Interface is our region’s most innovative non-profit using the latest research to achieve our mission: ending the cycle of family crisis for good. We’d love to have you and your family join us in caring for what matters most: healthy families and thriving children.

This 3.1 mile loop starts at Stevenson Fitness (706 Lindero Canyon Road, Oak Park, CA). It will go South on Kanan Road to Hollytree, and then cut through a park path that will exit on Bromley. Participants will follow Bromley back to Lindero Canyon Road and back to the Oak Park Plaza parking lot where Stevenson Fitness is located.
