About This Activity
Danielle will be guiding us through a sequence of Vinyasa style flows beginning with sun salutations, offering a little bit of creative freedom with our main flow, and ending with some deep stretches and Yin postures. Asanas can be made accessible to any level of yogi, beginners as well as those looking for that extra challenge. The practice will be focused on maintaining connection between breath and movement. Expect to build strength, flexibility, and balance in mind, body and soul. But most of all have fun!
For Danielle, yoga has been a bridge to healing. It is a unity of the inner Self with the physical body, and as we practice as a community, those connections are shared. She has been a student of yoga since 2014 and recently graduated with her RYT-200 hour teaching certification from East Lansing Hot Yoga studios. Her background consists of a foundation of Ashtanga yoga, Slow Burn, Hot Vinyasa, and Yin. Aside from yoga, her life is often filled with music or art festivals, exploring nature, and caring for animals. After working with the Humane Society for five years, she truly believes the karmic journey is one to follow in life. It is her passion to help others open the doorway to new challenges, vulnerability, and love through yoga, so that they may take what they have learned from themselves and others off the mat and into life every day.
