Help fight breast cancer with the Montgomery County Sherriff's office
You might notice a little something different the next time you see a member of the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office.
Our command staff and several deputies will be sporting pink badges in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The mission of the MCSO is to serve our community with honesty, integrity and transparency.
But we're also committed to serving with compassion.
So many people in our community have been either personally affected by breast cancer or know someone who has.
Throughout the month of October, you can help raise awareness, fund research and support advocacy by donating to Susan G. Koman Philadelphia on behalf of the sheriff's office.
Just visit our runsignup page and make a donation. You can even make your donation on behalf of one of our divisions: Courts, Civil, CERT, Transportation, Bike Patrol, Motorcycle Patrol, Bomb Squad for a friendly competition to see which unit raises the most.
If you see sworn officers wearing pink badges, take a photo or selfie with them and send it to our social media pages. We'll post it online to promote the fundraiser and garner more donations.
Please join our Pink Badge Fundraiser to help eradicate breast cancer.
